College of Education Scholarships and Fellowships
The College of Education annually awards various scholarships and fellowships to its undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarship availability, amount and eligibility requirements vary among the different scholarships.
The College of Education scholarships are awarded on the basis of such factors as academic achievement, LSU/community involvement, and/or financial need (per donor request). Scholarship applications are available online and in the Office of Student Services in 236 Peabody Hall.
To be considered for a COE scholarship, an application must be submitted. Please return completed applications to 236 Peabody Hall no later than 4:00 p.m. April 1, 2008. For information on scholarships in the Department of Kinesiology, please click here for application details.
External organizations also offer various scholarships to College of Education students. Scholarship requirements and deadlines are announced through PAWS e-mailings and posted notices in the Office of Student Services and throughout Peabody Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: Receiving a scholarship from the College of Education may affect a student’s overall Financial Aid package. The college is required to report the awarding of scholarships to the LSU Office of Student Aid and Scholarships.
The University also offers many valuable resources for undergraduate and graduate financial aid and awards. For information on policies, procedures, and applications, please visit the financial assistance and student resources sections of the LSU Graduate School and the LSU Office of Student Aid and Scholarships websites for the most up-to-date information.
