Dean's Office of Sponsored Programs and Accounting

The College of Education established the Dean's Office of Sponsored Programs and Accounting to facilitate an increase in research productivity. We assist in securing and administering externally funded sponsored programs, centralizing sponsored program efforts of the College, serving as a resource to faculty, and providing one-stop-shop assistance in important grant-related areas such as:
- Identifying available funding and offering technical assistance to faculty on proposal preparation and submission through the University to the sponsoring agency.
- Providing comprehensive support to principal investigators (PIs) in all areas of grant administration, including: procurement of goods and services; appointment of sponsored project staff; coordination of meetings and travel; maintenance of project accounts and financial reports for project decision-making; and liaison between the PIs, the University Office of Sponsored Programs, and the sponsoring agency.
- Provide expertise in hosting and planning various seminars, workshops, forums and conferences.
Sponsored Program Activity
- Includes recent award announcements, grant submissions, and archived sponsored activity via annual listings of awards and submissions by faculty member.
Sponsored Programs Initiatives and Projects
- Funded projects and college-wide initiatives, such as the French Education Project, the LSU Writing Project, the Curriculum Theory Project, the Peripheral Neuropathy Exercise Intervention Program, and more.
