She enjoys her role as staff liason to the Peabody Society Alumni and Friends Board. “Born and raised” in Baton Rouge and an LSU graduate, she welcomes all College of Education alumni, retired faculty and friends to give her a call and come home to LSU for a visit in Peabody Hall. She’ll be happy to show you around campus and would love to hear your news and your memories of the college and the university through the decades. |

Casey Bennett |
Before coming to the College of Education in 1999, Bennett owned and operated two successful businesses. Trading the hectic pace and travel involved with business ownership for more leisure time with her family gave Bennett the opportunity to volunteer more time in the community and public schools. Since 1999, she has assisted our students in the Office of Student Services, the administration in her position as Executive Assistant to the Dean, and now serves our alumni and friends in the Dean's Office of Public Affairs. In her current position, Bennett is responsible for developing our Legacy Tree. Her professional experience in marketing, recruitment and managing the bottom line, along with a creative style and decorative eye have made her a perfect fit in building our alumni and friend programs, relationships, and events. She enjoys her supporting role with the Peabody Society Alumni and Friends Board and looks forward to assisting them with their exciting plans for the future. |
