Lab School Wins Laptop Grant

The Louisiana State University Laboratory School has won a Turn On to Learning (TOTL) grant of computer laptops from the State of Louisiana. TOTL is a learning technology initiative providing students with 21st Century learning tools. The TOTL initiative will provide computer laptops for 105 sixth-graders and four teachers.

The Lab School sixth-grade teachers, technology coordinator, and administrators are receiving training opportunities through the grant as well as additional equipment including laser printers, projectors, and external hard drives, and shared resources including a digital camera, a digital video camera, and iPods.
