Commencement Highlights

LSU celebrated the 264th commencement exercises on December 21, 2007. Two College of Education graduates were among the ten LSU seniors who received University Medals for graduating with the highest grade-point averages in their graduating classes.

During the College of Education ceremony, the university awarded 154 diplomas. There were a total of 133 bachelor’s, nine master’s, six education specialists, and six doctoral degrees awarded. There were 27 parishes and 11 states represented.
