College of Education Office of Public Affairs
Resources for Reporters
What to do if you are a reporter and would like to speak to someone about issues in education?
The College of Education has nearly 200 faculty, staff, and instructors that have a wide variety of experience and expertise. The College of Education consists of the Department of Educational Theory, Policy, and Practice, the Department of Kinesiology, and the University Laboratory School along with several other administrative divisions.
If you are writing a story or working on a piece and would like to interview one of our faculty members, please contact Billy Gomilla with the LSU Office of Public Affairs at (225) 578-3867. LSU requests that all media contact the university's main Office of Public Affairs prior to speaking with individual faculty.
Angela Owings Broussard can assist in discovering faculty who are knowledgeable in your subject area. Hyderkhan also will help contact the faculty member, schedule an interview, and assist in collecting or providing any additional information.
