On Sunday, March 4, 2007, the LSU College of Education hosted a brunch at the Baton Rouge City Club to honor alumni and friends who funded professorships. The ceremony welcomed faculty receiving newly funded professorships and reunited current professorship holders with the donors that funded them.

Special guests included Mr. Ben and Mrs. Maureen Daniels, Mrs. Pat Hines and Dr. Bill Hines, and Mrs. Helen Roberts. New professorship holders were Elizabeth Willis, Becky Ropers-Huilman, Rita Culross, Denise Egea-Kuehne, Petra Munro Hendry, and R. Kenton Denny.
