Melissa Hargrave Thompson
|
Ms. Thompson serves as an instructor in the undergraduate CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program. She supervises students in the Concentration in Athletic Training and teaches courses in the concentration in athletic training and biomechanics. Ms. Thompson is a Certified Athletic Trainer who has practiced in a variety of settings. Most recently she served as the athletic trainer for the LSU Student Health Center and Recreation Sports, while earlier serving as an assistant athletic trainer at the United States Military Academy (Army) in West Point, New York. She also worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Virginia, served an internship for the Hughston Sports Medicine Foundation, and was an athletic training student for four years at Truman State University.
