Dorothy Jacobsen

Dorothy “Dee” Jacobsen received her PhD degree in human performance with a concentration in administration and teaching from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Jacobsen joins the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the Division of Sport Management. She serves as program coordinator for the B.S. in Sport Administration.
Jacobsen’s research interests include gender issues within interscholastic and intercollegiate athletics, practical application of sport administration.
Jacobsen’s teaching assignments are introduction to sport and leisure administration (KIN 2510), sport in society (KIN 2530), sport administration (KIN 4517), internship in sport administration (KIN 4835).
