Alex Garn received his PhD from Indiana University with a specialization in human performance and a minor in educational psychology. Garn joins the Department of Kinesiology as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pedagogy and Psychological Studies.

Garn’s primary research interests are in understanding motivation in physical activity settings. His teaching assignment will be in teaching and teacher education.
