Helene Afeman

Ms. Afeman serves as an instructor in the undergraduate teacher education program. Her teaching areas are: First Aid, Curriculum Theory, Physical Education content and Pedagogy for the elementary school, as well as majors' and regular activity classes. Ms. Afeman supervises student teachers in the undergraduate curriculum who are out in the field. She is also the sponsor for the Kinesiology Majors Club, a club made up of students from across the campus who are interested in participating in volunteer and civic type activities. Ms. Afeman has made several presentations at conventions, teacher in- services and elementary physical education classroom labs at the university. She is currently serving, in an appointed position, on the board of LAHPERD.
