ACHIEVEMENTS:
Coordinated K-12 curricular redesign resulting in significant district gains on Ohio tests

Developed Milford’s Partners in Education, a nationally recognized program with over 100 business persons who volunteer in the classrooms

Created the Back to School Extravaganza, an annual August event with over 80 booths featuring reduced or free school supplies, community agencies, and other local organizations

Designed and supervised K-12 technology plan, including wiring and acquisition of hardware/software, after writing and receiving four Ohio technology grants and e-rate monies totaling over $2,000,000

Created annual Community Tailgate Party, complete with refreshments and entertainment

Initiated Tune Up, an August ritual of staff development activities

Received 1997 Chapter Leadership Service Award from the LSU Alumni Association

Named 1995 Ohio Career Educator of the Year (first woman to win this distinction)

Named to the 1994 Cincinnati Enquirer Spotlight on People series
