Sarah Raines is an assistant professor and has been at LSU since August 2007. Her research interests include principal preparation, alternative licensure programs, executive education for practicing principals and university/district partnerships for principal development. She holds state licensure for K-12 administration as well as teaching. She is professional development liaison to leaders in East Baton Rouge Parish Public Schools and East Feliciana Parish Public Schools. She is the primary investigator for many grants serving teachers and leaders. Dr. Raines teaches course in the M.Ed program including Educational Research, School Improvement I, School Improvement II, and Best Practices II. She also teaches courses in the doctoral program including Leadership for Learning and Economics in Education. Dr. Raines can be contacted at (225) 578-2182 or by email sraines@lsu.edu.
