Hillary Braud

Dr. Hillary Braud earned her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. She is joining the Elementary Education division in the Department of Educational Theory, Policy, and Practice as an Assistant Professor.
Before joining LSU, Braud taught university courses in early childhood education, literacy acquisition, reading difficulties, and writing/language arts. Her research interests include multicultural education, pre-service teacher education and field experiences, and family involvement in schools.
