Brian Bourke earned his PhD in higher education administration from the University of Alabama.

Bourke is joining the Division of Administration and Counseling Leadership in the Department of Educational, Theory, Policy, and Practice as an assistant professor.

Bourke’s research interests include student diversity in higher education and portrayal of American higher education in media.

Bourke’s teaching assignments are student affairs in higher education and college students in the United States.
