Ian Binns received his PhD in science education from the University of Virginia.

Binns is a member of the Division of Secondary Education in the Department of Educational Theory, Policy, and Practice as an assistant professor.

Binns’ research interests include nature of science, scientific methodology, and educational technology.

Binns’ teaching assignment is science curriculum discipline.
