Steven Bickmore received his PhD in English education from the University of Georgia.

Bickmore is joining the Division of Secondary Education in the Department of Educational Theory, Policy, and Practice and the Department of English as an assistant professor.

Bickmore’s research interests are English education methods, young adult literature, induction and mentoring, qualitative research, and postmodern inquiry.

Bickmore’s teaching assignments are curricula, pedagogy, and assessment in the English classroom and curriculum and pedagogy in secondary disciplines.
