Catriona Anderson

Catriona Anderson received her M.Ed. in elementary education from the LSU College of Education Holmes Program in 1998. She earned her B.S. in elementary education in 1997.
Anderson began teaching at Highland Elementary in 2003. She taught fifth grade and tutored fourth-grade students to prepare them for their LEAP test and served as the school’s math specialist. She also served on the Highland Elementary/LSU Partnership Advisory Council. Prior to that, she taught fifth and third grades at North Highlands Elementary.
Anderson has worked with the Louisiana Teacher Assistance and Assessment Program mentoring new teachers. She has also mentored LSU student teachers and supervised LSU field experience teachers in language arts and social studies. In addition, Anderson was a master teacher with the East Baton Rouge Parish Observation Program.
