The English Language Orientation Program (ELOP)

8-Week Program US$7,500:

4-Week Program US$6,500:

Application deadline: May 1, 2010
LSU arrival date: June 24, 2010
Program fee due upon arrival

Students will arrive on the LSU campus and participate in four or eight weeks of English language proficiency training customized for this program by the English Language Orientation Program (ELOP) at LSU. The ELOP training takes place on the LSU campus with travel and cultural excursions to New Orleans, Lafayette, and surrounding areas in the state to explore the unique culture and heritage of South Louisiana. New Orleans is home to the NBA Hornets, the NFL Saints, and the MLB Triple A team, Zephyrs.
The LSU Purple program fee includes both the ELOP program at LSU and a semester at Walt Disney World®, where students will meet the academic requirements of a full-time student at LSU. The LSU Purple program fee also includes housing accomodations, meals, and ELOP textbooks while at LSU.
