**LSU College of Education International Program in Walt Disney World® Resort**

Option 1 - LSU GOLD US$6,000

The Two-Semester Program Model

Students will arrive on the LSU campus in January 2009 and take 12 credits as a cohort group. All coursework will be taught by LSU College of Education faculty who have expertise in sport related content. Housing at LSU will be in residence halls and a meal plan is available. Four days of classroom instruction in sport related courses will be required each week.

The US$6,000 LSU Gold program fee includes both a semester at LSU and a semester at Walt Disney World®, where students will complete the academic requirements of a full-time student at LSU. All coursework will be taught by LSU College of Education faculty who have expertise in sport related content.

The Academic Experience At LSU - 12 Credit Hours:

KIN 2501 (3 credit hours) - History and Philosophy of Kinesiology
KIN 2502 (3 credit hours) - Practicum in Sports Studies
KIN 2510 (3 credit hours) - Introduction to Sport and Leisure Administration
KIN 2530 (3 credit hours) - Sport in Society

Depart for Walt Disney World® or Disneyland®

On May 15, 2009, students will travel to Walt Disney World® to participate in a paid internship in sport administration. See reverse side for detailed information on the academic experience at Walt Disney
