Wayne Miller joined the College of Education in February 2008. He is employed by the LSU Foundation and works in the college to enhance support for academic and outreach efforts. Wayne earned a master's divinity degree in religious education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and received a B.S. from Troy State University in management. He was most recently a corporate manager for a Madisonville-based company, where he provided management and consultative expertise for existing subsidiaries as well as advisory and due diligence for propsed acquisitions. Additionally, he worked as the administrator and staff coordinator for First Baptist Church in Covington, La., for eight years. Wayne has many accomplishments in his long career. Some of them include:

• Raised $2.5 million for five churches who were in major building campaigns and/or land acquisitions.
• Held full responsibility for $3.6 million budget and staff of 41.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an educational ministry for more than five churches.
