* Non-Thesis Option: This option requires the 36 semester hours described above. Although this option does not require a formal thesis, the student is expected to complete a curriculum project that must be approved by his or her advisor, and is required to take a comprehensive examination during the last semester of his or her program of study.

** Thesis Option: Students who wish to write a thesis for this degree, may do so with the approval of his/her advisor. The program of study for this option requires a total of 31 semester hours, does not require KIN 7538 and 6 hours of electives, but does require EXST 4001 (Statistical Methods) and a minimum of 6 hours of KIN 8000 (Thesis Research).

*** Required courses must be completed prior to enrolling in KIN 7538. Students must consult with his/her advisor 1 semester prior to enrolling.

**** Elective courses must be approved by the student’s advisor.
