Athletic Training:  Transfer Student Policy

Transfer Student Policy

Students wishing to transfer to Louisiana State University from another institution must submit transcripts of grades to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Louisiana State University.  The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Director of the Concentration in Athletic Training determines which courses will be accepted by the University for credit towards graduation. Transfer students should also meet with the undergraduate coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology to determine if specific courses may substitute for concentration requirements.

All prospective students must attend the Orientation In-Service Meeting, offered at designated dates/times during the academic year, and meet all application requirements to be eligible for acceptance into the Professional Phase of the Concentration in Athletic Training. Meeting entrance requirements to the University, the College of Education, and/or the Department of Kinesiology does not guarantee admission to the Professional Phase of the Concentration in Athletic Training. Transfer students are encouraged to contact the Director of the Concentration in Athletic Training to discuss all degree requirements of the Concentration in Athletic Training.
