The PK-3 Teacher Education program is a collaborative effort between the College of Education and the College of Agriculture's School of Human Ecology.Teacher candidates move through the program in cohorts, gaining the advantage of close collegial relationships found to be effective for personal and professional development. They participate in field-based professional blocks and student teaching in diverse professional development school settings. Candidates also participate in reflective seminars. The program is characterized by expectations and outcomes threaded throughout the coursework and field-based professional blocks and two semesters of student teaching. |
