Program Description

The Education Specialist in Administration is a XX hour program that may lead to additional endorsements by the Louisiana Department of Education. Candidates in the program should be interested in school or district leadership positions. Students will complete a course of studies that includes a number of field based experiences. The curriculum is designed to scaffold development of the knowledge, skills, and professional dispositions needed to lead a P12 school or district so that all students are successful academically and socially.

Mission

The mission of the Education Specialist in Administration programs is to prepare aspiring and current principals to lead schools in an ethically and socially just way.
