LSU College of Education to realign into new
College of Human Sciences & Education
During the December 2011 LSU Board of Supervisors meeting, the board approved the university's proposal to realign six academic units to create the College of Human Sciences & Education. The college will house approximately 117 faculty members, 17 undergraduate and 18 graduate degrees and have a budget of $11.5 million, excluding the lab school’s annual $10.7 million budget. Laura Lindsay, currently interim dean of the College of Education, will initially serve as the dean of the new college.
